Looking East, Whiteshell Point, Gower

"Since becoming a professional artist in 1988, I have concentrated on painting the countryside in all of its moods and seasons. I am particularly interested in the way light and weather interact with the landscape and how they can transform a scene.

Olive Trees, Crete

I find a lot of inspiration on the Malvern Hills as well as the wild land and seascapes of Scotland and Wales. More recently I have found much enjoyment painting the Mediterranean landscapes of Spain and Greece as well as urban cityscapes.

On Worm's Head, Gower

Gower is very special to me but whatever the location, I am always endeavouring to capture mood and a sense of place, for the signs that make the location unique. I have been painting the Gower Peninsular for many years and enjoy painting its various aspects - from the smaller bays such as Bracelet and Langland to the wild and rocky Mewslade and Rhossili bays."
