Helen Sinclair and Bill Jacklin
Helen Sinclair is a figurative sculptor who works both in stone resin and bronze. She obtained her degree at Wimbledon College of Art and moved into teaching before becoming a full time sculptor. Helen Sinclair has her studio near Swansea but her work may be found in galleries across the UK .
Bill Jacklin studied at the Royal College of Art in London and is a Royal Academician. His work is preoccupied with the effects of light and movement often in urban environments. Moving to New York in 1985, he has concentrated on 'Urban Portraits' of 'the city”. This exhibition of his latest etchings is held in collaboration with Marlborough Fine Art, London, one of the worlds leading contemporary art galleries
5th April – 26th April
Robert Harrison and Jonathan Taylor
This exhibition compares two artists’ approach to the landscape of South Wales and the Gower peninsular in particular. Robert Harrison’s intension is to fuse two differing approaches to painting into a single composition containing balanced abstract elements.
Jonathan Taylor concentrates on painting the countryside in all of its moods and seasons. He is particularly interested in the way light and weather interacts with the landscape and how they can transform a scene.
3rd May – 24th May
David Carpanini
Professor David Carpanini is considered a significant painter and influential printmaker not only on the Welsh but also the British art scene. His meticulous work, routinely selected for the Royal Academy Summer Show, is mainly devoted to the presentation of the industrial valleys of South Wales and its people. This major show, three years in the preparation, will feature over eighty paintings, drawings and original prints.
31st May – 21st June
Prudence Walters and Sarah Young
Prudence Walter’s work is concerned with colour and space. Committed to abstraction, she works from biomorphic imagery, passionate expressiveness, direct observation from nature with insistence and urgency.
The work of Sarah Young is inspired not just by the landscape around her home in northern Pembrokeshire but by the stories passed down by her family and the people in her Welsh speaking community.
28th June – 20th September
Summer Group Exhibition
This exhibition features work from all the artists the gallery represents. Each artist is invited to bring in a selection of new work. This is a “rotating” exhibition. New work will be brought in throughout the summer and work may be taken away on day of purchase.
27th September - 18th October
Nick Holly
Nick Holly's early work described streets of terraced houses, often set in hillsides, which are typically found across South Wales. More recently, the people who live there have become more prominent in his paintings, portraying the life of the communities who inhabit "his" streets. As his work has developed so has his reputation as a chronicler of the urban and industrial landscape of South Wales.
He first exhibited in this gallery in 1989 but now his paintings are exhibited in London and beyond.
25th October – 15th November
Wilf Roberts
Wilf Roberts was born on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales where he lives and works. On leaving school he studied at Croydon Art College and successfully exhibited his work in solo and mixed shows both in South London and the West End.
In 1974 he returned to live on Anglesey and did not exhibit publicly for many years. However, since his retirement in 1996 he has painted full time. A number of successful solo shows have followed, and he has seen his reputation grow. He is now regarded as one of the finest, individualistic landscape artists currently working in North Wales.
22nd November – 24th December

This is a showcase exhibition for all the artists we represent. It features new work by all our artists and, as it is a rotating show, work can be taken away on day of purchase.
