Swansea is situated on the South Wales coast, some 200 miles west of London.

From London, leave the M4 at junction 42 following signs to the city centre. Eventually pass the docks entrance on your left and follow the dual carriageway across the river. Sainsbury's store will be seen on the left. Almost immediately, at the next main intersection, follow the signs to the Dylan Thomas Centre and turn left at the traffic lights into Somerset Place (see map). Follow this street to the end then turn right. The gallery is 200 yards straight ahead on the first floor above Cambrian Boats, which is well signposted. There is a large public car park directly opposite the gallery.
