| An introduction to Hilke MacIntyre Hilke MacIntyre was born in Germany and grew up near Kiel. In 1996 she moved to Scotland and concentrated on art. She now lives with her husband - also an artist - and their 2 children near St Andrews. She paints, prints linocuts and makes ceramic reliefs in a simplified figurative style. Particular influences are primitive art and the art of the early 20th Century. She has exhibited widely across the UK. See biography |
