An introduction to Ceri Barclay
Ceri Barclay was born in Tonypandy in the Rhondda Valley in 1937. He studied at Cardiff College of Art from 1955-60 before taking up teaching and lecturing posts in England. In 1974 he returned to Wales, based in Swansea and renewed his exploration of the landscapes of the South Wales valleys. Since then he has exhibited at many leading art galleries across Wales in solo, joint and mixed exhibitions. See biography
