An introduction to George Little
George Little was born in 1927 in Swansea and studied at Swansea College of Art and the Ruskin School of Drawing of Oxford University. He went on to teach in schools, art schools and finally the University of Wales Swansea. His work is inpired by the industrial environment in which he grew up and the subsequent decline of heavy industry. He has exhibited widely throughout Britain in solo, joint and mixed shows since 1951.
