Ian Phillips RCA was born in 1969. He studied Illustration gaining his BA, and worked as an illustrator before winning a Princes Trust award. This allowed him to study the landscape and led him to develop his printmaking techniques. His reduction linocuts, inspired by the Japanese woodcut artists are produced in very small editions.
