Gareth Hugh Davies

Is best known for the powerful, enigmatic and haunting imagery in his paihntings.  His work has been included four times at The Royal Academy in London as well as being at the National Portrait Gallery; The Cricket Hill Gallery in New York and the Leith Gallery in Edinburgh.  Gareth has also won the Gold Medal for Fine Art at The National Eisteddfod of Wales.

Gareth has a long list of Exhibitions to his name and his work is held in numerous private collections as well as public collections of the Glyn Vivian Art Gallery, Swansea; University of South Wales; Oriel Y Bont and Carmarthenshire County Collection.Gareth currently lives and works near Carmarthen.

Sarah Lees

Was born in Coventry and studied as a Wildlife Illustrator in Carmarthen before pursuing a career as a freelance Illustrator.  Her clients include high street publishers Parragon Books and Top That, The National Eisteddfod, The National Museum of Wales, The Welsh Arts Coucil, Carmarthenshire County Council, The Countryside Council for Wales and various Wildlife Trusts.

Sarah has many exhibitions to her name and was recently awarded The Fishguard joint Summer Open Prize.Sarah currently lives and works near Carmarthen.

Sara Philpott

Has been a successful contributor to Attic Gallery Exhibitions for many years both as a painter and as a printmaker.  Sara’s unique artistic style is influenced by her printmaking (which she sees as a means of applying ink to paper from a painter’s point of view) both compositionally and in terms of multilayering, and she is also influenced by the beautiful surroundings of her home in mid Wales.

Sara excels in providing work of great detail with exceptional colour and has never become formulaic in her approach to her artwork.
