PETE KOZ AKA Pete Kosowicz 28/12/59

The Attic Gallery is happy to welcome back Peter to the Gallery after a long time working with many other established artists, He now has time to produce his own work again.

When he was younger Pete used to sell a lot of prints and had a few shows. He started working for other artists as a way of paying to have his own studio and as life took its meanders and he needed to make more money, he took on more work for other artists like Anish Kapoor, Antony Gormley and Chris LeBrun and before he knew it he was running the largest editioning studio in the UK with a list of clients that included Damien Hirst, Gillian Ayres, Cornelia Parker, Har- land Miller and many more.

Pete then started working with artists as a master printer in 1988, and founded Thumbprint Editions in 2003 and has been involved in many fantastic projects ever since. Thumbprint Edi- tions now has a great team of staff and he is able to turn back to making his own art, which has gone through many phases over the years.

Pete's current work has been developed using a technique which he has explored in the past but has since been developed an evolved from his years of work with great artists and is one which he hopes to use for a long time.
